The Great Charity Challenge sponsored by Fidelity Investments® (GCC) continues to make a remarkable impact in Palm Beach County, combining the excitement of equestrian sports with the power of philanthropy. Since its inception in 2009, this annual event has brought hope to over 50 local charities each year. In its 2024 edition, the GCC achieved a historic milestone, distributing an impressive $2.25 million to local non-profits.

Founded in response to the 2008 economic downturn, the GCC was designed to provide much-needed funding to Palm Beach County charities. What sets this initiative apart is its focus on sustainability. Non-profits receiving GCC grants are awarded unrestricted funding, empowering them to allocate resources where they are needed most. This approach supports their long-term strategies and maximizes the impact of every dollar received.

Additionally, a minimum of 75% of the distributed funds is guaranteed to stay within local communities, ensuring the GCC continues to strengthen the foundations of Palm Beach County.
