PROPEL exists because a relationship at the right moment can change everything.

We started in 2003 with a handful of kids and a belief that young people don’t just need tutoring — they need people who care. People who show up, who stay, who refuse to quit on them even when life gets hard. People who know firsthand what it feels like to sit where they’re sitting.

We are People Reaching Out to Provide Education and Leadership — and that’s not just our name. It’s the job description of every single person on this team.

At PROPEL, we walk with students from middle school through high school and long beyond graduation — through college applications, first jobs, trade school decisions, relationships, marriages, and the moment they bring their own kids back to the place that never gave up on them.

We don’t just change outcomes. We change what young people believe is possible for themselves.
